Hiking Luxembourg : simply amazing

No sound reaches the ears except the rustle of the leaves and the murmur of the river down below in the valley. Because the plateau of the Ardennes is cut deeply by the rivers Clerve, Wiltz, Sure and Our, as well as by numerous streams. Again and again in between thrones mighty castles and chateaux on steep rocks. For example, the valiant and impregnable Castle of Vianden on a rocky mountain supervise the valley of the Our. Or the Castle of Bourscheid, 150 m above the Sure, the biggest castle of Luxembourg as an impressive destination for hikers.

Particularly exciting in the Ardennes is the diversity of the hiking paths in a fabulous natural setting, always surprising wild and lonely. The many treasures of this nature and the large number of species of flora and fauna in the 2 Natural Parks in the Ardennes (Natural Park of the Our & Natural Park of the upper-Sure) protected and, at the same time made life for visitors.
